Herberth Motorsport (Porsche 991 GT3 R) won the 2018 Creventic 12H of Imola after completing 347 laps for about 1700 kms at the former F1 italian circuit of Imola. The german team, with drivers Allemann, Bohn, Robert and Alfred Renauer, concluded the race with the huge advantage of 2 laps on the second placed car, the Mercedes AMG GT3 of french team IDEC Sport Racing, and almost four minute gap on the third classified team: Forch Racing (Porsche 991 GT3 R). With all three prodium spots, it was a terrific performance for german car manufacturers (Porsche and Mercedes), who swept the italian cars Ferrari (finished fourth with Scuderia Praha Racing) and Lamborghini (in 6th place with GDL Racing). RAM Racing, which led after day 1 four hour race concluded in 5th position, the last in the A6-PRO class.
The only italian team in the lineup, Ebimotors (Curti/Curti/Frezza), finished 7th overall but got the victory in its class: the Porsche 991 Cup. Other victories went to PROsport Performance in A6-AM class, GDL Racing (Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo) in SPX class and LMS Racing in TCR class.
