Giro d’Italia 2019

Richard CARAPAZ (ECU) of Movistar Team won Giro d’Italia 2019 after the 21st Stage in Verona with only 1 minute and 5 seconds on second placed, the italian cyclist, Vincenzo NIBALI of Bahrain-Merida Team, who was not able to close the gap against Carapaz in the last stage. Third place for the slovenian cyclist Primoz ROGLIC of Team Jumbo-Visma, who concluded with a gap of 2 minutes and 30 seconds.
The followings are other winners at Giro d’Italia 2019: Pascal ACKERMANN (Bora -Hansgrohe) as spinter classification leader (Cyclamen Jersey), Giulio CICCONE (Trek-Segafredo) as King of the Mountains classification leader (Blue Jersey) and Miguel Angel LOPEZ (Astana Pro Team) as Young Rider general classification leader (White Jersey).
The last stage was won by Chad HAGA (Team Sunweb) with only 4 seconds on Victor CAMPENAERTS (Lotto Soudal) and 6 seconds on Thomas DE GENGT (Lotto Soudal).
